So, by the time I get this typed up it'll probably be out of date, sort of like buying a new computer. Short version: the trip was moved back a day, we missed the cheap tickets, we found different cheap tickets, we missed those too, found different cheap tickets but that will add another day to trip (*tear!*) and we got those. So as of this very moment we will be leaving March 21 and returning March 30. What a fiasco. The count is down to 48 but I haven't adjusted it for our late take off and I don't really plan on it. The 21st will just have to be Day Zero I guess. Still haven't gotten a list ready for Cindy and she's still freaking out. I'm a bad kid, what can I say?
In Ocho Adventures, I'm leaving for WI tomorrow morning to spend a couple days with one of my buds then a little bit with Jess and the boys, kind bummed I won't be able to see more family but I am showing up in probably the most random time/week of the year.
Cindy Adventures will include, to the best of my knowledge, the daily perils and trials of life in the Information Technology Department at the grand empire. And I will try to get her to read from our Nicaragua book while I'm gone. And I think that's all, folks!! Questions? Comments? Let us know!!

56 to go...
So after a crazy long day I came home to the BEST surprise...BASIL!! Yeah, so I'm basically a crazy lady since basil excites me but it was great!! I had a mysterious envelope sitting on my computer with a return addy in Wisconsin. Well we all know that people from WI are crazy ducks so I was a little hesitant to open it...just kidding, Jess!! Anyway, out comes a little thing of seeds and a note and, trust me, I am totally "Thinking Spring" now!! Just some FYI, I harassed some information about garlic and basil out of my dear, sweet cousin not too long ago. You just rocked my world, Jess!!
Well back to the matter at hand...I heard from the professor teaching the class today and he said they're working on ironing out some stuff but it's getting closer so that's a big YAY!! Also, we heard a couple weeks ago that they managed to get about $300 dollars off of ticket prices so I've got a good feeling about this trip. **Knock on wood** I suppose I should get started on a list of stuff to take before it gets too close, that'll help Cindy out too...she's kind of stressing. ;)

T minus 61 days
Hello all!! So today marks 61 days until Cindy and I head south. I'm just going to post a few pictures from my last trip down there now but if you guys have any questions or requests let us know and we'll answer the best we can! We don't have an "official" schedule or itinerary yet and, honestly, anything we get will still be EXTREMELY subject to change but we'll update as soon as we get anything. Thanks!!
